What this does

Foursquare Swarm MCP gives an AI assistant read-only access to your own Foursquare check-in history, so it can help answer questions like "where was I around this time?" — for example, corroborating a financial transaction against where you actually were. It only ever exposes your own history, scoped to your authenticated account.

How to connect

Sign in at /account/login with your Foursquare account, then add this server's MCP endpoint to your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-compatible client) and complete the client's own OAuth prompt.

Foursquare Connection Status

Checks whether your Foursquare account is connected.

Try: "Check whether my Foursquare account is connected."

Foursquare Check-ins

Lists your check-ins, optionally filtered to a date/time range.

Try: "Did I check in anywhere between 6pm and 9pm last Friday? I'm trying to match it against a credit card charge."

Foursquare Check-in Details

Looks up full detail for one specific check-in.

Try: "Pull up the full details for that check-in you just found near Dolores Park."

Foursquare Venue Details

Looks up full detail for a specific venue (address, category, coordinates).

Try: "What's the exact address and category for that venue, so I can confirm it matches this receipt?"
